Overview

This is the trip most first-time visitors take. We start early in Vrindavan while temples are open, cross to Mathura after lunch, and come back for the evening at Prem Mandir.

The order of temples is adjusted on the day around festival crowds and the pace of your group.

  1. Morning

    Banke Bihari & Radha Raman

    Early darshan before the crowds build. Your driver drops you at the closest point to the temple lanes.

  2. Late morning

    ISKCON Vrindavan & Nidhivan

    Kirtan at the Krishna Balaram Mandir, then the sacred grove of Nidhivan.

  3. Afternoon

    Mathura: Krishna Janmabhoomi

    Drive to Mathura (about 30 minutes). Leave phones in the car for the security check.

  4. Late afternoon

    Dwarkadhish Temple & Vishram Ghat

    The old city temple and the main ghat on the Yamuna.

  5. Evening

    Prem Mandir illumination

    Back to Vrindavan for the evening lights at Prem Mandir, then drop at your hotel.
